Renders of new Town Hall Square released, community feedback sought by City of Sydney Council

In short: Designs for a new public square opposite Sydney Town Hall in the CBD have been released. Town Hall Square, earmarked to be completed by 2031, will be a gathering point for the community and a space for markets, festival and music events. Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore says the end result will have the "grandeur of a European square".

New renders of what Sydney's new Town Hall Square will look like have been released, promising "the grandeur of a European square". The new public square will be opposite Town Hall in the heart of Sydney's CBD and the design shows a plaza surrounded by a curved grove of 30 native Australian trees.
