Renowned Paris surgeon Sydney Ohana faces additional sexual assault charges

Paris prosecutors disclosed that Dr. Sydney Ohana, the celebrated aesthetic surgeon who founded the Eiffel-Carré d’Or clinic in the city’s 16th arrondissement, was again placed under formal investigation in March 2026 for a series of sexual-offence crimes. The new indictment adds accusations of sexual aggression by a person in a position of authority and multiple counts of sexual harassment spanning 2017-2022, including a rape and an attempted rape in 2019 and an alleged assault on a 15-year-old in 2023.

The case now involves ten women who allege that the offences occurred both within the clinic’s walls and in private settings. Ohana, 75, has been placed under judicial control, which restricts his travel, prohibits contact with the victims, and bars him from performing physical examinations on female patients. His counsel, Caroline Toby and Laurent Benouaich, assert that he “strongly contests” the accusations. Judge Joël Le Scouarnec characterized the clinic’s environment as having a “permanent sexual connotation.”
