The study also records university-funded events and departmental communications that propagated anti-Semitic views. Historical data show a shift from a balanced faculty political makeup in 1969 to a dominant left-leaning majority by the end of the century, facilitating this change. Despite a prior voluntary agreement with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, the university’s recent response to the report has been limited to vague assurances.
