Residents of Six Welsh Streets Win £1,000 Each in Postcode Lottery

Six Postcode Lottery participants living on Welsh streets each received a £1,000 prize for the week of Oct 19-23.

The Postcode Lottery, a subscription service that supports charities, reported that six players residing in Welsh postcodes collected £1,000 each between Oct 19 and Oct 23. The winning postcodes were CF38 1DN (Church Village), CF5 1ER (Canton, Cardiff), CF64 3RG (Penarth), SA62 3QR (Pembrokeshire), LL16 4BB (Denbigh) and CF5 2RR (Llandaff, Cardiff). Participants pay £12.50 a month and are entered into all draws, with guaranteed daily winners and larger weekly and monthly prizes.

The scheme channels 33 % of ticket sales to charities, having raised over £1.8 billion for causes including Maggie’s, Alzheimer’s Society, Dogs Trust, Mind and the NSPCC. Winners can increase payouts by holding multiple tickets, and the lottery continues to promote community projects across Britain and abroad.
