Revolut commits S$350 million to Singapore, opens permanent CBD office
Revolut will launch a dedicated 8,880 sq ft office in Singapore’s Collyer Quay Centre in early 2027, backed by a S$350 million investment over five years.
After seven years operating from co-working spaces, Revolut is establishing a permanent headquarters in Singapore’s Collyer Quay Centre, slated to open in early 2027. The 8,880 sq ft office anchors a S$350 million commitment to the country over the next five years, earmarked for product innovation, regional business growth and talent acquisition. Revolut aims to increase its local headcount from about 170 to more than 300 employees, with hiring concentrated on engineering, product management, data science and artificial intelligence, while preserving a 70 % local-staff ratio.
The move is presented as a signal of deepening roots in the market and a launch pad for further Asian expansion, supported by a favorable regulatory environment and abundant talent. Executive Raymond Ng highlighted the company’s recent launch of a Global Technology Hub in Manila and its plans to evaluate entry into additional regional markets. Economic Development Board executive Pee Beng Kong noted that the expansion will strengthen Singapore’s fintech ecosystem and create opportunities for local talent.
Why it matters
The investment signals Revolut's long-term commitment to Singapore and its role as a hub for Asian fintech growth.
