Right-wing activist ejected from Los Angeles church and attacked by black-clad assailants

Eoin Richard, a right-wing activist, attempted to hold a free-speech rally in Los Angeles and entered Precious Blood Catholic Church, where he was swiftly overrun by counter-protesters and escorted out of the sanctuary. Social-media videos captured Richard and a fellow demonstrator running into the church while agitators followed closely behind. After leaving the church, Richard was assaulted by black-clad individuals who verbally attacked him with slurs such as “Nazi” and “terrorist.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations Los Angeles, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, and the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California issued statements condemning the violence and emphasizing that no place of worship should be targeted. No arrests were reported at the time of the incident.
