Right‑wing leaders schedule Sunday protest outside closed Terror House museum

After the removal of Schmidt Mária as director, the Terror House museum was ordered to close for an audit of its professional and operational practices. The Ministry of Social Relations and Culture said the inspection will involve scholars from the ELTE HTK History Research Institute and independent specialists. Bayer Zsolt, together with Bencsik András, Huth Gergely and Szentesi Zöldi László, called for a protest in front of the museum on Sunday. Organizers warned that external influences could turn the museum into a politically sanitized display, while the ministry emphasized that the review is not intended to cripple the institution's function.
