Rishi Sunak revisits the debate over what defines English identity
Rishi Sunak reflected on his own sense of Englishness and argued for a broader, ethnicity-free definition of being English.

He argued that the traditional “Tebbit test” of supporting the national team should no longer be the sole gauge of Englishness and that the concept should be inclusive of all who grow up in England.
