Rising VMware renewal costs squeeze AI budgets, Nutanix offers free migration workshop

Following Broadcom's 2023 acquisition of VMware, many organizations have seen license fees climb dramatically, jeopardizing their AI initiatives. The total cost of moving away from VMware extends beyond compute, encompassing networking, storage, management and security, with Gartner citing timelines of 18 to 48 months and per-VM expenses ranging from $300 to $3,000. To help address these challenges, Nutanix is organizing a free, full-day event on Oct 7 at The Brewery in London for infrastructure leaders and cloud architects.

The program also covers external storage integration, hardware reuse, and controlling AI token costs via Nutanix Agentic Gateway.
