Robert Pattinson's 'Primetime' to Lead Beyond Fest Opening in Los Angeles

Lance Oppenheim's genre film 'Primetime', headlined by Robert Pattinson, is set to open the Beyond Fest festival in Los Angeles following its Venice screening. The A24 picture, which also features Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers and Jeff Zucker as himself, will debut on the West Coast at the Director's Village. Beyond Fest runs from Sept. 23 to Oct. 8 and includes ten world premieres, ranging from a first look at Nobuhiko Obayashi's 'Hausu' to new 4K restorations and short projects by Conor Oberst, RZA, Flying Lotus and Ernest Dickerson.

The program adds screenings of Alex Gibney's 'Musk', Bassam Tariq's 'Your Mother, Your Mother, Your Mother', and a Robert Eggers preview of material for 'Werwulf'. Additional attractions feature M. Night Shyamalan's retrospective, Danny DeVito presenting 'Hoffa', and appearances by Al Pacino, Jamie Lee Curtis and others.
