Robot vacuum makers unveil quieter and steam‑cleaning models

DJI has unveiled a new Romo 2 robot vacuum that operates more quietly and adds a longer‑reach brush and mop arm for cleaning under furniture. The unit also includes small legs that let it negotiate single steps and low‑height obstacles. Dreame has introduced the Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete, a robot vacuum equipped with an onboard steam generator that softens stubborn dirt before a wet roller removes it, and a dedicated tank that collects used water for disposal at the docking station. The Dreame model can climb obstacles up to 10 cm high, offers stronger suction than its predecessor, includes a carpet‑protective barrier, and features a base that sanitises the unit.
