Rohlík reports cyber breach exposing customer emails, phone numbers and call transcripts

Rohlík disclosed that hackers accessed its customer-support system, stealing names, email addresses and, for some users, phone numbers and conversation records.

Rohlík confirmed that a group of hackers breached its customer-support tool, obtaining users' names, email addresses and, for a subset of accounts, phone numbers and transcripts of communications with support agents or virtual assistants. The company emphasized that authentication and payment infrastructures remained untouched and that its service is still fully functional. The breach covered communications over several months in 2026, including chat messages, phone call recordings and email exchanges.

Rohlík reported the incident to the National Cyber and Information Security Office and the Data Protection Authority, and implemented additional security safeguards. Customers whose messages contained passwords or payment information were reached out to directly, and the firm warned against phishing attempts, reminding users that it never requests such data via email or SMS.

Why it matters

The breach exposes personal contact details of many shoppers, raising privacy and fraud risks.
