Romanian environment minister launches inter-agency task force for Paltinu and Măneciu dams
Environment Minister Natalia Intotero visited the Paltinu and Măneciu reservoirs to set up a joint working group aimed at preventing future water-supply crises.
On Monday, Environment Minister Natalia Intotero conducted an official visit to the Paltinu and Măneciu dams, convening a working session with leaders from the Prahova County Council, the National Administration of Romanian Waters, the Buzău-Ialomița Water Basin Administration, the Prahova Prefecture, the Prahova Emergency Situations Inspectorate, the Prahova Water Exploitation System and Hydro Prahova, as well as academic and civil-society experts.
The minister emphasized that ensuring uninterrupted water supply is a top priority and called for coordinated action among authorities, specialists and operators.
