RUC leadership summons researchers over protest photos, sparking academic freedom concerns
Roskilde University Centre called four researchers to a private meeting where they were shown images of students involved in a recent campus protest.
Four faculty members were invited individually to an office where university director Henrik Zobbe and the chief legal officer presented printed pictures of twelve students. The students had taken part in a demonstration dubbed the RUC Intifada, marching through corridors, playing drums, and accessing private offices while displaying anti-Israel graffiti.
