RugOne unveils detachable-camera phone with industrial-grade waterproofing; Lenovo showcases expandable-screen laptop prototype

RugOne’s new Xsnap 7 Pro smartphone distinguishes itself by offering three rear cameras, one of which is removable and can function as a standalone action cam equipped with a dedicated battery, capable of capturing 2.7K video at 30 fps for around 40 minutes onto its own 64 GB storage. The device also meets the stringent IP69K rating, protecting against high-pressure water jets for up to 30 minutes, and includes a robust 9300 mAh battery alongside a 6.67-inch screen.

In parallel, Lenovo revealed the ThinkBook Project Swan, a concept notebook that starts as a 14-inch ultrathin laptop but, with a press of a button, unfolds its flexible OLED panel to a 17-inch display. The prototype weighs 1.6 kg, is only 17.9 mm thick, and is aimed at frequent travelers, business users handling large spreadsheets, and content creators, though it is not yet available for purchase.
