Russell leads Monza practice as Antonelli receives back‑of‑grid penalty

In the final practice session for the Italian Grand Prix, George Russell set the quickest time, while his teammate Kimi Antonelli was handed a penalty that will see him start from the back of the grid after exceeding the allowed number of engine components. Antonelli, who accepted the sanction a month ago, said he will focus on race setup and adopt a "full attack" strategy to climb through the field, aiming for a top‑five finish.

Lando Norris finished close behind Russell, and Lewis Hamilton, running an upgraded engine, was half a second slower. The penalty adds pressure to Antonelli’s championship challenge as he tries to recover positions at his home race.
