According to Russian authorities, eight individuals were arrested for assembling a fleet of 35 drones, imported from the European Union and fitted with explosives, to target a strategic defence company in the Moscow region. The Federal Security Service disclosed that the plot involved detailed planning and smuggling of the devices. In a parallel operation, a foreign national was apprehended in the Murmansk region, where he was reportedly arranging a border crossing into Norway after conducting reconnaissance on trains carrying petroleum products at a Moscow railway hub and on administrative buildings in the capital.
