Russia warns Britain that any strike on Kaliningrad could provoke nuclear retaliation

The warning referenced a recent Sky television mini-series that dramatized a Russian attack on the United Kingdom, underscoring Moscow’s perception of growing Western hostility. The embassy reminded readers that the UK hosts more than 2,000 military installations, ranging from major army garrisons such as Aldershot and Catterick to key RAF bases like Brize Norton and Coningsby.
Earlier this year, Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova had already threatened strikes on British drone factories and bases. The statement also came amid Kyiv’s claim that Russia and Iran are sharing intelligence to target U.S. bases in the Middle East.
