Russian drone and missile strike hits Kyiv, killing a child and damaging homes
A Russian drone and missile barrage in the Kyiv region killed at least one person, a child found in the rubble of a private house.
Russian unmanned aerial vehicles and rockets struck the capital area, damaging buildings and causing power outages in parts of the city. Timur Tkatjenko, head of the Kyiv region's military command, said a private residence was hit and a child's body was recovered among the debris. Rescue teams are now clearing the site. This follows several nights of repeated attacks on Kyiv.
