A Russian attack drone targeted a passenger bus in the Kosmitsjnyj district of Zaporizhzhia on Thursday afternoon, striking the vehicle near a public-transport stop. According to Mykhajlo Semikin, who serves as the acting chief of the regional military administration, eight individuals - evenly split between men and women - sustained injuries in the blast. Semikin stressed that the strike was directed at civilians simply following their ordinary daily routes, rather than at any military objective.
He added that the health of the victims is the top priority and that they are receiving appropriate medical care. The incident underscores the ongoing risk to non-combatants in the region amid the broader conflict.
