Russian drone hits fuel station near Poland-Ukraine border, sparking huge fire

According to reports from local outlets referenced by ukrmedia.news, a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle targeted a petrol station situated a few hundred metres from the Jagodzin-Dorohusk border crossing, which lies on Poland’s national road 12. The strike caused a massive fire that consumed the station and ignited nearby cargo trucks. The crossing, one of the main road links for goods between Poland and Ukraine, has been open to freight traffic since 2022, and authorities plan to develop a sizable parking facility for hundreds of thousands of trucks in the vicinity.
