Preliminary findings say the drone recovered on Porvoo's Pelling island originated from Russia.

A drone found on the shore of Pelling island in Porvoo has been preliminarily identified as Russian. The Finnish Border Guard opened an initial inquiry into a possible breach of Finnish waters in the Gulf of Finland. The unmanned aircraft, likely a mapping surveillance drone, was spotted by fisherman Peter Kellgren on Tuesday afternoon. Authorities are now probing its origin, flight path and the circumstances of its arrival.
