Russian drone strike kills six workers at Kharkiv region farm processing plant

On Thursday morning, a Russian drone attacked a fruit and vegetable processing plant owned by a farm in the village of Stara Gnylytsia, located in Ukraine's Kharkiv region. The strike, which took place at approximately 07:35 local time, killed six people who were working inside the facility, according to the Ukrainian government press service. Initial reports had listed seven deaths, but the regional prosecutor's office later confirmed the lower toll.

Authorities identified the weapon as a small Banderol hybrid, combining features of a cruise missile and a drone. Rescue crews released images showing the devastated interior of the hangar where the victims were sorting vegetables. This attack follows a recent intensification of Russian air strikes that have resulted in many civilian casualties since the war began over four years ago.
