Russian drone strikes ignite fires and damage warehouses across Kyiv Oblast
A Russian drone hit multiple sites in Kyiv Oblast on Sept. 20, setting warehouses ablaze, damaging vehicles and injuring one person with minor wounds.
On Sept. 20, a Russian drone targeted locations throughout Kyiv Oblast, igniting fires at warehouse complexes in the Boryspil, Fastiv and Bucha districts. In Boryspil, a warehouse caught fire and a private residence canopy and vehicle were damaged, while an Eco-Market warehouse in Shchaslyve also burned. The Fastiv district saw damage to an industrial warehouse in Boyarka, a private enterprise in Novosilky, and several vehicles.
A vehicle in Bucha was hit and a subsequent blaze was extinguished. One man sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene without needing hospitalization. Authorities and emergency services are still evaluating the full extent of the destruction amid a surge in fast, jet-powered Russian drones over the area.
