Russian drone strikes kill two and wound several in Saporischschja, hospitals hit
Two civilians were killed and a man and a child injured by Russian drones in Saporischschja, where residential blocks and two hospitals were also struck.
Russian drone assaults on Saporischschja over the weekend resulted in two civilian deaths and injuries to a 45-year-old man and a four-year-old boy. The strikes targeted residential districts, a market, a veterans' home and two hospitals, damaging thirteen apartment blocks. Earlier night-time attacks had already hit both hospitals, forcing the evacuation of five patients and causing minor injuries.
The city’s dialysis centre, part of the Nephrologisches Zentrum, faces supply shortages because the courier firm Nova Poshta is repeatedly targeted. Residents describe a stark contrast between a seemingly calm city centre and the constant threat of drone fire, especially near the front line only ten kilometres away.
