Russian drones strike logistics hub, gas depot and ships in Kyiv and Odesa regions
Russia launched drone attacks on a logistics centre in Kyiv region, a gas-distribution site in Bojarka and several vessels in the Black Sea, the defence ministry said.
The Russian defence ministry reported that drones hit the BDU Logistic centre in Kyiv region and a gas-distribution station in Bojarka. In the Odesa area, a military cargo ship in the port and infrastructure in Izmail were also targeted, while a vessel heading for Odesa was struck on the Black Sea. Ukrainian air defences claimed to have downed 244 drones over 18 regions and the Black Sea. Separately, Russian sources said a Ukrainian attempt to rescue encircled troops in Kharkiv failed.
Why it matters
