On Friday morning, Kyiv authorities reported that Russian missiles hit a nine-storey residential building, leaving two individuals injured and setting the structure ablaze. The city had earlier warned residents to take shelter due to a drone alert. In a separate incident, Ukrainian drones struck civilian infrastructure in the Russian city of Saratov on the Volga River, according to regional governor Roman Busargin, but no injuries were reported. Saratov is a frequent target of Ukrainian attacks and hosts a large Rosneft oil refinery. Both sides continue to deny deliberately targeting civilians.
