Russian strikes kill three, hit Kyiv districts and cities in Sumy and Kharkiv
Russian attacks killed three people in Sumy and Kharkiv and injured one resident in Kyiv, local officials reported.
On Sunday, Russian forces launched multiple attacks across Ukraine, resulting in three fatalities. In Sumy, two glide bombs detonated near a family support centre, killing two individuals. A separate drone strike in Kharkiv hit a car and killed its driver, according to prosecutors.
In the capital, Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said a drone struck a high-rise apartment block in an eastern suburb, sparking a fire that injured one person; emergency crews extinguished the blaze. Additional drone impacts were recorded near a kindergarten and a playground in two Kyiv districts, though no further casualties were reported. Both sides of the conflict continue to deny deliberately targeting civilians.
