Russian TV host warns Europe of drone threat and cites new Finnish TNT plant

Vladimir Solovjov and analyst Andrei Klintsevitš used a state TV show to claim Russia can strike Europe and highlighted Finland's upcoming TNT factory in Pori.

During a broadcast on the state-run Rossija 1 network, Vladimir Solovjov hosted military analyst Andrei Klintsevitš, who argued that Russia’s drone launch bases are intended for attacks on Europe, not Ukraine. Klintsevitš claimed Europe lacks the missile technology to counter the projected ten-thousand Geran drones and that Russia could hit the entire EU from deep within its territory. He pointed out that the continent presently operates only one TNT-explosive manufacturing plant in Poland and that Finland announced a second plant in the Noormarkku district of Pori, to be constructed by Forcit and operational by 2028 for the Finnish Defence Forces.

The analyst suggested the Pori facility could cripple major transport and military logistics across Europe, though he did not clarify whether the plant itself would be a target. He also contrasted European air-defence ranges, saying they are limited to roughly 200 km from borders, unlike Russia’s deeper strike capability.

Why it matters

The story shows how Russian propaganda frames European defence gaps while a new Finnish TNT plant could affect regional security logistics.
