Ryan Blaney Defends Dollar Tree 301 Crown at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Ryan Blaney captured his third Cup win of 2026 by edging out Bubba Wallace at the Dollar Tree 301, marking back-to-back victories at New Hampshire.

Rain-soaked conditions at New Hampshire Motor Speedway forced drivers onto wet-weather tires before the surface dried and slicks were introduced around lap 40. Kyle Larson captured the first stage, but Ryan Blaney, driving the No. 12 Ford for Team Penske, seized control in the second stage, leading 38 laps and taking the stage win. A multi-car incident involving Carson Hocevar, Connor Zilisch, Joey Logano and Austin Dillon added drama but left all four able to continue.

In the final stretch, Blaney built a gap while Bubba Wallace stayed within striking distance until a brake lock-up with five laps to go allowed Blaney to secure the victory by 0.586 seconds. Josh Berry finished third, with Christopher Bell and Larson completing the top five, giving Blaney his third win of the season and a statement heading into the playoffs.

Why it matters

The win reinforces Blaney’s momentum and playoff prospects in NASCAR’s 2026 Cup Series.
