Saab reports strong order growth and higher operating profit in latest quarter
Saab said its order intake surged and operating profit rose in the third quarter, driven by contracts such as Gripen for Ukraine and GlobalEye.
In its interim report, Saab highlighted a sharp increase in new orders, including a fighter jet deal for Ukraine, a GlobalEye system contract, and work linked to Germany's new frigates. The company also noted continued investment in future capabilities and expanded production capacity. Operating profit improved compared with the same period last year, while revenue grew beyond expectations.
Why it matters
The surge in orders and profit signals strengthening demand for Saab's defence and surveillance products worldwide.
