SafeWork SA initiates criminal charges against Adelaide school over hammer incident

SafeWork SA alleges that the school failed to protect students and staff, exposing them to health and safety risks during a hammer-throwing incident in September 2024. The regulator says the mishap resulted in a student sustaining serious injuries. Criminal charges have been lodged, and the case will be heard in the SA Employment Court at a later date.
