Sahamati pushes back launch of new AA fee structure to December 1

The NBFC-AA industry body Sahamati has delayed its new account aggregator fee model by a month, moving the start date to December 1.

Sahamati announced that the implementation of its revised fee schedule, originally set for November 1, will now begin on December 1. The decision was explained as a response to the upcoming festive period and requests from participants for more time. Industry members said legal reviews, multi-party agreements and system changes required additional weeks, and holiday schedules further compressed the timeline.

Why it matters

The delay gives NBFC-AA participants extra time to finalize legal and technical arrangements before fees begin.
