KRON4’s search of Zillow and Apartments.com, excluding income-restricted and co-living units, uncovered the deal in the Tenderloin, managed by J. Wavro Associates. The apartment provides hardwood flooring, ample daylight, elevator access, and pet accommodation for $75 a month, but offers no laundry facilities or parking and omits square-footage details.
The Tenderloin ranks lowest for safety in the city, with a notable share of assault and drug-related incidents, yet it excels in walkability, bikability, and public-transport proximity. The listing was verified, and the California Post has sought comment from the management firm. Comparable micro-studio rentals in the same building are even smaller and cheaper, highlighting the city’s broader affordability challenges.
