San Juan City kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with free health services
San Juan City, together with the Caring Keri Foundation, opened Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Oct. 5, drawing 236 patients and survivors for free wellness services.
The launch took place at the Makabagong San Juan Theater inside the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center. The event, themed “Wellness and Wisdom: A Journey of Strength and Survivorship,” offered a range of complimentary health and wellness activities. Mayor Francis Zamora recounted his and his wife Keri Zamora’s experience after her breast cancer diagnosis in February 2019. Over two hundred breast-cancer patients and survivors participated.
