Sandra Bullock admits caregiving strain after partner's ALS battle

Bullock also shared that she had previously cared for ill family members, which made her comfortable with illness but not immune to its mental-health impact. Randall, who requested privacy, passed away on Aug. 5, 2023, at age 57, and Bullock honored his wish to keep the illness out of the public eye.
