Santos FC adopts APS water system to boost athlete training and recovery

Santos FC announced a new collaboration with Pai e Filho Assessoria to bring the APS - Acqua Performance System to its CT Rei Pelé center. Developed from three decades of experience with large shared-use pools, APS offers a highly controlled aquatic environment through exact chemical management, real-time monitoring and advanced filtration. The methodology targets common discomforts such as eye, skin and respiratory irritation that affect athletes who train frequently in water.

By minimizing these issues and stabilizing water conditions, the club expects athletes to gain more from each training session and enhance overall performance. Director Nikolas Ladeia highlighted that the approach treats the pool as an integral part of preparation and recovery, not merely a facility.
