Sara Midtgaard departs Nordea Markets for new macroeconomics role
Sara Midtgaard announced she is leaving Nordea Markets after joining in October 2024 to take up an undisclosed position focused on macroeconomics and the Norwegian economy.
Midtgaard said she enjoyed her time at Nordea and appreciated the experience. She started at Nordea Markets in October 2024, having previously worked as a macroeconomist at Handelsbanken Capital Markets. Her background includes a master's in economics from the University of Oslo and roles at the Prognosesenteret, Norges Bank and the Financial Supervisory Authority. While she will not reveal her new employer, she confirmed she will continue working on macroeconomic analysis of Norway.
