Saudi-led coalition says it shot down Houthi missile aimed at Khamis Mushait
The Saudi Arabia-led coalition reported that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Iran-backed Houthis toward Khamis Mushait.
According to the coalition's official spokesman, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, the missile was heading for the city of Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia. The air-defence systems successfully neutralized the threat. Earlier the same day, the coalition also reported shooting down two drones that were on a trajectory toward Riyadh.
