Savannah Bananas' Nationwide Tour Nears End, Tickets Still Available

The Savannah Bananas' 50-game tour across the United States is entering its last phase, with only a handful of regular-season contests remaining. The Banana Ball Championship League expanded before the season to add the Loco Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns, creating a four-team field. The league’s playoffs are scheduled to start on Thursday, Oct. 1, featuring four teams competing for two spots in the Banana Bowl, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Fans are encouraged to secure seats now to experience the team’s trademark trick plays and entertainment. The final games will determine which squads advance to the championship showdown.
