Scaramucci hosts exclusive Wyoming crypto summit featuring top politicians and industry leaders

Anthony Scaramucci organized a private blockchain conference at a Four Seasons resort in Wyoming, attended by several U.S. senators, a former governor and senior crypto executives.

Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci arranged a discreet blockchain gathering at the Four Seasons hotel in Wyoming, inviting a select roster of political and financial leaders. Attendees included ex-New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Senators Tim Scott and Cynthia Lummis, Representative Ritchie Torres, White House crypto adviser Patrick Witt, Comptroller of the Currency Jonathan V. Gould and Paxos CEO Charles Cascarilla.

During the day, participants discussed cryptocurrency policy and industry developments, while the night featured a "Cowboy Jamboree" with drinks, dinner and a Western DJ at the Mangy Moose venue. Cuomo arrived from Beverly Hills, where he had appeared on a talk show, and used the platform to denounce moderate Democrats, warning they could become a fringe faction. At the symposium, Cuomo acted as co-chair of a joint venture linking crypto exchange OKX with Intercontinental Exchange, the parent of the New York Stock Exchange. Scaramucci, now a podcast host with a large audience, also positioned himself as a life-coach figure for European leaders.

Why it matters

The meeting shows how political influence and crypto industry interests are converging in exclusive settings.
