School bus crash in Pokhara kills three and injures fourteen
A school bus carrying 22 students fell down a steep slope near Majhathana in Pokhara, killing two pupils and a staff member while injuring 14 others.
The vehicle, registered as Ga 2 Kha 1417 and operated by Kalika Boarding School, plunged an estimated 150-200 metres near the Bijaypur Army barracks. Deputy Inspector General Dipendra GC of Gandaki Province confirmed that two students and a member of the bus crew died. Rescue teams worked to extract the injured and transport them to hospitals, while the remaining passengers were taken to safety.
