Seahawks negotiate contract with cornerback Terrion Arnold amid felony case

Prosecutors allege Arnold organized the assault after suspecting the victims of stealing $100,000 in cash and luxury items, and a judge set his bail at $1 million. After the Detroit Lions cut him in June, Arnold’s representative, Denise White, maintains that the accusations lack solid proof.

The Seahawks hosted Arnold for a tryout on Sunday, and coach Mike Macdonald said the visit was positive while acknowledging the surrounding legal issues. The team, which boasted the league’s top defense last season, hopes Arnold can add depth after losing cornerback Riq Woolen and dealing with safety Nick Emannwori’s injury.
