Second teenage student detained in investigation of Kuala Pilah Form Two death

Authorities in Negeri Sembilan have arrested another 16-year-old male student to aid the murder investigation of a Form Two student who died after an incident on Friday. The new detainee, a fellow pupil, appeared before the Kuala Pilah magistrate's court and received a six-day remand until early October. A dedicated task force is examining the circumstances, including whether bullying played a role, while post-mortem results remain inconclusive.

Police have gathered a large number of witness statements and are awaiting forensic results from the Chemistry Department. The victim was reportedly assaulted with a rubber hose after being summoned to a dormitory room, and later died in hospital, though the exact moment of death is still unclear.
