Security forces eliminate six Fitna al Hindustan militants in Kachhi district operation

Security forces killed six militants linked to Fitna al Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Kachhi district, Balochistan, and seized a large cache of weapons.

Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Sanni locality of Kachhi district, Balochistan, killing six militants affiliated with the group labeled Fitna al Hindustan. The strike employed quadcopter drones and resulted in the recovery of a large quantity of weapons and ammunition. This action comes amid a broader wave of terrorist activity in the province, which has seen recent lethal engagements in Chagai, Awaran, Mastung, Nokcha, Ziarat Cross and Pishin.

State-run Radio Pakistan reported that the military’s media affairs wing previously announced more than 71 militants killed in the region over a 96-hour period. According to the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies, terrorist attacks rose by seven percent from July to August, making Balochistan the most affected province. Authorities say the intensified operations aim to curb the escalating violence linked to groups they accuse of Indian involvement.
