Security forces kill three militants and stop attack on empty Gwadar construction site

Pakistani security forces eliminated three terrorists and prevented an assault on an unoccupied construction camp in Gwadar, officials said.

Security personnel in Gwadar engaged and killed three militants linked to the Fitna al-Hindustan network, averting an attack on a vacant construction compound. Simultaneously, officers cordoned off other suspected terrorists near a local hotel and pursued a separate plot. While the camp was empty and no casualties occurred, the assailants ignited a number of trucks parked on an adjacent road.

Government officials rejected rumors of assaults on police and intelligence installations, labeling them baseless. A joint statement from the Gwadar administration and police emphasized that law and order in the BP-250 area remained under control following swift action by security and intelligence agencies. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the forces on social media for their professionalism in thwarting the threat.
