Security guard alleges spray attack and assault during break-in at Israel-linked defence plant
A guard testified that intruders sprayed him with an unknown fluid and assaulted him while attempting to stop a break-in at a factory linked to an Israel-connected defence firm.
In court, security guard Billy Dennis recounted that a band of masked people breached the perimeter of a factory tied to an Israel-linked defence company, using tools such as hammers, fireworks and spray bottles. He attempted to block their entry by driving his white Land Rover into the fence, but the intruders shattered the vehicle’s windows and sprayed him with a fluid he was told could be acid, though he could not confirm its nature.
Dennis described being hit in the face, hearing threats, and seeing his fellow guard Michael Robins covered in red paint and appearing traumatized. Video evidence showed members of a red-clad team vandalising the interior with sledgehammers while the black-clad team kept security occupied. The prosecution alleges the two teams coordinated to overwhelm guards and cause extensive damage. Nine defendants, including Hannah Davidson, are on trial for the alleged assault and property destruction.
