Selangor Extends RM30 Monthly Subsidy to KTM Komuter Riders

The Selangor Resilience Package will provide a RM30 monthly subsidy for KTM Komuter travel across the Klang Valley and northern routes, as well as the Southern Shuttle Service, through December 2026. Managed by Rantaian Mesra Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated), the scheme collaborates with transport providers and a digital payment platform to distribute the benefit. Up to 50,000 vouchers are available, and only registered Selangor voters may apply, with eligibility based on voter registration rather than residence or workplace.

Interested users must submit an application through the Nine app, selecting KTM Komuter as their preferred mode. Once approved, the subsidy is automatically deposited into the applicant’s Nine e-wallet, which can be used to purchase tickets via the KTMB Mobile or KITS Style apps.
