Sensofusion's IPO oversubscribed, sets stage for major Helsinki market debut
Finnish drone-defense firm Sensofusion completed an oversubscribed IPO on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, with anchor investors including several pension insurers.
The Helsinki-based company Sensofusion announced that its initial public offering was heavily oversubscribed, with the share price fixed at €16.41. Institutional investors received nearly all of the allocated shares, with pension insurers Elo, Varma, Ilmarinen and several OP-Rahastoyhtiön funds acting as anchor participants. Retail investors were offered a much smaller portion of the issue.
The company plans to start trading on the pre-list on 9 October, followed by the main market debut on 13 October. Sensofusion, known for its anti-drone system Airfence and other sensor technologies, intends to use the proceeds to fund its growth strategy, including expansion of production in Canada and the United Kingdom and development of a dedicated satellite slated for launch in 2027. Founder and CEO Tuomas Rasila retained a majority stake through his holding company Haave Oy, committing not to sell additional shares for 720 days after the listing.
Why it matters
The IPO provides Sensofusion with capital to expand its anti-drone technology, a sector of growing strategic importance.
