Seoul expands delivery discounts and vouchers to all Han River parks

As autumn draws crowds to outdoor spaces, Seoul is rolling out a larger version of its public delivery discount scheme. Beginning Thursday, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will make the program available at 17 designated zones in all 11 Han River parks, extending the pilot that previously covered only three locations. Customers ordering at least 25,000 won via Seoul Delivery Plus Ddangyo will get an immediate 3,000-won cut, and those using Seoul Love Gift Certificates can receive a 3,000-won rebate for purchases over 15,000 won or a 5,000-won voucher for orders above 25,000 won.

The city also doubled the cashback on online gift certificates to 10 percent and raised the monthly spending cap to 500,000 won. Partner Shinhan Bank and the municipal government are adding incentives for merchants, including fee waivers and stipends for top-rated vendors. Officials say the measures are intended to provide tangible savings for residents while fostering a sustainable delivery ecosystem for small businesses.
